Produkty Nowej Generacji firmy Venifloor to podłogi, których parametry znacznie przewyższają dotychczasowe podłogi drewniane a technologia ich tworzenia odbiega od tradycyjnych podłóg tego typu. Kluczem do innowacyjności jest rdzeń, który stanowi płyta HDF – odporna na kontakt z wodą i bardzo wytrzymała. Powstaje ona dzięki zaawansowanym technologiom produkcji, w których drewno poddawane jest procesom rozdrabniania, a następnie prasowania pod bardzo wysokim ciśnieniem. Płytę łączy się z fornirem, co czyni całość bardzo twardą (o 41% twardszą w stosunku do litej deski dębowej). Dodatkowo eksponuje ona prawdziwe drewno. Wierzchnią warstwę deski pokrywa się sześcioma warstwami lakieru z domieszką korundu. To on ułatwia pielęgnację i chroni drewno przez lata, a wyższa twardość zapobiega powstawaniu wgnieceń.
Jeśli jednak mimo wysokiej odporności, dojdzie do jakichś uszkodzeń podłogi, cyklinowanie nie będzie konieczne. W przypadku małych ubytków stosuje się tzw. woski twarde na gorąco, które doskonale dopasowują się do struktury i wykończenia podłogi, dzięki czemu po procesie renowacji ubytki stają się niewidoczne. Do większych uszkodzeń stosuje się szybki system jednodniowego odnawiania podłogi. Proces ten przeprowadzony jest bezpyłowo, więc jest łatwiejszy niż odnawianie tradycyjnego parkietu przez cyklinowanie.
Podłoga Nowej Generacji doskonale sprawdza się w segmencie podłóg drewnianych do montażu na ogrzewaniu podłogowym. Opór cieplny (R) dla deski o grubości 9,2 mm jest zdecydowanie mniejszy niż w przypadku deski trójwarstwowej o grubości 14,3 mm i wynosi odpowiednio 0,085 W/K*m2 i 0,132 W/K*m2. Jeszcze ciekawsze jest to, jak wypadają porównania paneli fornirowanych do płytek ceramicznych. W teorii te ostatnie są najlepsze pod ogrzewanie podłogowe, natomiast badania pokazują, że podłogi fornirowane wypadają porównywalnie. Wystarczy podkreślić, że podłoga fornirowana o grubości 8,5 mm ma opór cieplny na poziomie 0,09, a grubsza o 1,5 mm płytka osiąga wynik 0,08. Podobnie zresztą wypadają badania współczynnika przenikania ciepła – dla podłogi fornirowanej wynosi on 11,19, natomiast dla ceramiki o wspomnianej wyżej grubości – 11,44. Wniosek? Oba te surowce mają niemal identyczne wyniki najważniejszych z punktu widzenia przewodności cieplnej parametrów. Wszystko dzięki odpowiedniej budowie paneli fornirowanych – a dokładniej odpowiedniej gęstości płyty HDF stanowiącej rdzeń panelu oraz grubości deski. Jak więc widać, technologia wykonania jest istotna również w kontekście takich kwestii, jak montaż podłogi na ogrzewanie.
